Krofile Acceptable Use Policy
Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the rules governing use of the Krofile platform. By using Krofile, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violation of this policy may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account.
Permitted Use
Krofile is designed for professionals, businesses, and individuals to create and share digital identity cards, collect leads, and manage their professional digital presence. You may use Krofile for any lawful commercial or personal networking purpose consistent with these terms.
Prohibited Content
You may not use Krofile to create, upload, or distribute content that: is illegal under any applicable law; infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights; contains malware, viruses, or harmful code; is defamatory, harassing, or threatening; promotes hate speech, discrimination, or violence based on race, gender, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics; sexualises minors in any way; or promotes illegal products or services.
Prohibited Activities
You may not: impersonate any person or organisation; create fake or misleading card profiles; use Krofile to send unsolicited commercial messages (spam); use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or collect data from the platform; attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features; use the platform for phishing, social engineering, or fraud; resell or sublicense Krofile services without written permission; or use Krofile to compete with Krofile by building a substantially similar product.
Review Integrity
If you use Krofile Review Cards to collect customer reviews, you must not: solicit reviews in exchange for incentives (discounts, cash, gifts); post fake reviews from non-customers; suppress or selectively request reviews to manipulate your rating. Krofile may remove review card access if we detect patterns consistent with review manipulation.
Enforcement
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against violations of this AUP, at our sole discretion. Actions may include: content removal, account suspension, account termination without refund, and referral to law enforcement where warranted. We are not obligated to act against every violation but will act on reports we receive in good faith.
Reporting Violations
If you encounter a Krofile card or content that you believe violates this AUP, please report it to abuse@krofile.com. Include the card URL and a description of the issue. We review all reports within 2 business days.
